Alternative for GIN-GLIDERS

Hi!
Are there already other manufactors of speedflying equipment?I tried speed flying yesterday and i enjoyed it very much, but 1700€ for GIN Nano + hanrness is simply to much for me!So, I am interessted in alternatives?
Can you help me?

Alternatives to the Gin Nano
Hi People,
I have been searching the net madly trying to find something with the same speed as the Gin Nano but with a much better glide. There are two options available, they are the Nova Shockwave and the Nervures Swoop. The Shockwave is a 16m2 mini paraglider and has a glide around 1:6-1:7 and a top speed of about 65kph. The swoop comes in three sizes 10m2,14m2 and a 16m2. The glide is a claimed 1:5 but the wing has a higher top speed 75kmp-100kmp depending what size you go for. The swoop is going to be about two thirds the price of the shockwave. So there will have to be a compromise on speed or cost.
The other grate thing about these wings is that they can be foot launched in nil wind, the 10m2 swoop I think is the exception.
I was after a wing I could use on the hill if the wind was to high for a regular paraglider but also a wing I could use for speed flying when I go away at winter. The only thing left to do is try both out. Watch this space.

Firebird trainer
Have seen the firebird trainer on the hill with the school i trained with.I know for a fact that someone, no names, has flown one of these on a very windy day.He reported very twitchy handling and fast response. Bear in mind this is designed for ground handling only, so it says on the tin but rules are there to be pushed. Think they area about 12sq/m and cost £700 new without a harness. They have a low lift aerofoil section so you need high speed to generate the lift.
Memories are the only thing we can take with us. Make them good!

Greetings everyone!! I am a 13 year old boy weighing around 45 kilos intersted in the firebird trainer! Now question number one: can i fly with this in nill winds ( im no.1 sprinter in my school) ok ok!!! you guys may think im a complete idiot but I do kite buggy and kitesurf. ive been tandem paragliding before ( and steered) i know alot but maybe alot is not enough. in switzerland ive seen people with the nono gliders and swoop ( some modified kites too) ive really gotten into this sport and i live in austria so...i think there will be enough hils ( plus a good frteind of mine is a paragliding teacher!) ive asked him and he just said yaya you can always use mine (very crappy things hat only flew like 20 feet) i decided i need m own since the firebird is the cheapest one i could find so far.. by the way does the firebird come with harness?? if not will the gin yeti be good? well hear from you guys soon i guess. sorry if this is in the wrong section of the forum!!!)= kk bye

Hi,
I have very old pair of skies so I have to look for a new pair.
What do you think will be better soft, stif, long, short?
As we gonna hit the snow at high speeds probably stif will have better control
160/170 cm sounds reasonable.
Sugestions wellcome.

Not many alternatives that I know of
JN Hellracer is one but is the same price as the Nano - 1700€
The wings in the French videos are modified PF Springo's - New price also around 1700€
not sure about FS-Taco (FlySurfer) and if it is suitable (kite/paragliding groundtrainer) and surface area maybe too small - again similar price I guess.
other options are
Parachute similar to the Springo, Small Paraglider or Big Kite with suitable modifications for Speed Flying ?
Conclusion - NO cheap alternatives.

Nervures Swoop
There is also the Swoop by Nervures. Unfortunately, this wing is also expensive, about 1400€ for the 10m2 without the harness. I don't know the prize for the 14m2.

Nervures Swoop
The Nervures Swoop 10m2 is only for expert paragliders!!! The swoop has more aspect ratio and more cells than the Nano. The break travels are very short. What impressed me a lot is how much speed this wing takes in turns. A nice toy for experts but not for everybody!
