Is it possible to use a snowboard with this equipment. I would like to try this but I would prefer to use my boarding skills- which are decent compared to my skiing skills which are marginal.
thanks

Snowboard - Yes, but...
you are best using a Skydiving rig not the normal speed riding harness due to the risers are attached at your shoulders not hips/waist area. See the posts here... http://www.paraglidingforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=11529
main problem is the wing gets way out of shape after landing a jump due to the rider always needing to twist sideways to ride the board. Your Leading leg puts more tension on one side of the wing and it will try to turn. This is due to your hips twisting almost 90° to the direction of flight also on a hill your front hip may be lower than the rear making the risers even more unbalanced.
as above - a Skydiving rig allows for riser attachments at the shoulder which then allows for correct hip movement while riding a snowboard. Rider is facing forward looking down the hill with the wing parallel to the shoulders.
