Swooping gave mountain swooping and ground launching.
Then logically came speed-flying (aka speed-riding)...
Where the hack did Lee Tamahori get the inspiration for Die Another Day's sequence where we see James Bond "speed-surfing" down a breaking iceberg generated wave?!
Although totally virtual I recommend that sequence of the last James Bond for the ideas of realisation it can give...
Lol! Maybe someday we'll see Laird Hamilton speed-riding down Jaws... ^^
But first, is speed-riding adaptable to riding waves? big waves..?

James bond stunt + Die another day
Good morning I saw that clip from 007 movie Die another day , I can say that it's like more of a Kitesurfing stunt wherein James Bond ride the wave thru icebergs . He used like a big parafoil kite and a improvised board as he escapes danger from the iceberg generated big wave where he surf, jump and glide over icebergs to safety although the scene is virtual, so it looks to me he's kitesufing than speedflying / speedriding .
waves = kitesurfing
But first, is speed-riding adaptable to riding waves? big waves..?
No, because the wave is also moving forwards. The closest thing you can get to it is Kitesurfing.
and yes, it has been done on JAWS...
ps - not seen the James Bond movie is the speed-flying sequence on the web ?.
