Big flight zone with no obstacles

GOALS Calm Air Flights, Follow simple Flight Plans
THEORY Piloting Technique, Aerology [Wind & Turbulence]

ORANGE

  PRACTICE SITUATION Front wind <30km/h [16knts] - Side & Back wind <10km/h [3knts]
GOALS Autonomy on calm air flights, know flight area, Landing Precision, Flying close to the ground (straight and level flight), Landing on the slope, Touch 'n' Go, Skiing with Glider above
THEORY Gliders Adaptation, Dynamic Piloting, Energy Management [Speed, Trajectories, Anticipation, Flair], Priority Rules and overflight heights.

GREEN

50 to 150

Beginner

Big slope with obstacles
  PRACTICE SITUATION Front wind <30km/h [16knts] - Side & Back wind <10km/h [3knts]
GOALS Autonomy on known areas, Touch 'n' Go, Ski turns with Glider, Trajectories and returning to the ground from height
THEORY Meteo [Understanding the Weather & dangerous phenomena (gusts etc.)], Nivology [Snow Conditions/Avalanche Risk etc], getting info from surroundings in flight, Technique - Trims

BLUE

PILOT LICENCE

Mountains

THEORY Flight mechanics, Flair, Energy Managment, Wings and their piloting requirements & Wind Traction
