My right wrist was broken during that flight, and that contributed to the messed up launch. I am happy I fixed it fast, though. I wouldn't have had another chance to set up.
The first step was enough. I drove it hard, and lifted up my feet after launch. I was skimming the other steps, but it was enough.
See what you mean about technical launch...
and also good catch to recover the glider - with so little room to get off the ground all could have gone horribly wrong without the glider overhead when you went to launch...
Did you need to run down a few of the steps to get airborn or was running off the first step enough ?
