Nova - Ibex

The Ibex is NOT a true Speed-Flying wing it is designed by Hannes Papesh to meet the requirements for para-alpinism.

The wing is made of two grades of material - upper sail is 40g cloth the lower and some inner parts (unsuspended ribs and no load components) a lighter cloth. The wing also uses narrower than standard-risers to make for better handling.

The design is based around the Speedmax, and the Rookie based paramotor wing, which are designed for high wing loading. Because of the high wing loading the Ibex is very collapse resistant in practical conditions.

Beside alpinists the Ibex is interesting for pilots who want to extend their flyable wind range. Thanks to its small pack size the Ibex is also a perfect wing for travelling.

With its dynamic, responsive and forgiving behaviour the Ibex offers a lot of fun in various conditions, like can not be experienced with a normal paraglider.

The Ibex-15 is targeted at all those pilots who require a minimum of weight and pack size, and a very agile and dynamic wing, with a speed advantage for windy days.

The Ibex-19 is a Rookie XXS, but manufactured with different risers, lines and wing material.

Manufacture: Nova Wings
