Been kiteboarding about 7 years and looking to get into speed flying. Some friends in Norway got me dialed in with a Niviuk Skate 10 and Roamer harness so I am set to go with gear. Just need an intro to the right crowd. email me sales at kitehero dot com if you know someone who can help! We will be in steamboat area around 5th of Jan to snowboard and ski for a bit.

Go by the T-Bar restaurant, it's slopeside next to the resort. The owner used to speedfly, I don't know if he still does. He Got a bad injury breaking both legs a few years ago, he might still fly and if not he might be able to help you find some pilots. Otherwise check out the Colorado Speedflyers facebook page.
