The growth of Speedriding

Just wondering if anyone has any info on how much the sport has been growing over the years. i am interested in the number of pilots both worldwide and, more specifically, within the United States. i know its a tough number to nail down, but i just thought id ask if anyone had a rough estimate of the growing trend.
