Ozone - Bullet 009
The Bullet 009 is the Newest Generation of Ozone Speed. Developed by Rob Whittall and the Ozone Test Team, the Bullet 009 is the choice for discovering the sports of Speed Flying and Speed Riding, or taking those sports to the next level: It’s up to you. The Bullet 009 is the same versatile wing as the Bullet 008, with a few upgrades and a new 16m size for the big guys, and for pilots who want to have a wider flight range when foot launching. The 10m, 12m, and 14m sizes are as ideal for ski launching as they are for foot launching, depending on your in flight weight. Whether you plan to ridge soar when it’s too windy to fly your big wing, foot launch a peak or ski-launch a massive snowy mountain, the Bullet 009 Series has the wing for you. Each size of the Bullet 009 is a perfect scale in size and behavior. Simply choose your size according to the wing loading you want - high wing loading for experts, low wing loading for beginners. Experts beware - for ski launched flight, you will want the new Bullet GT!
The Atak Harness The Bullet 009 comes with the Atak Harness as an option. The harness was designed by pro skiers and pilots specifically for the new sport of Speed Flying with the help of Pierre Bouiloux of SupAir, with a special focus on the best configuration for transitioning from skiing to flying positions. The standard Bullet 009 package includes Backpack, Inner bag, and Stuff Sack. Anti-friction rings on the shoulder straps allow transition from standing to sitting positions quickly and easily. The harness naturally positions the pilot in a skiing stance, so that you are never caught off-balance while speedflying. When you transition from standing to sitting, you will be completely ‘in’ the harness, not hanging out of it. The leg straps automatically scoop you into the harness, with no struggle to sit comfortably. This also makes the harness ideal for tandem flying and dune soaring as well. The Bullet Snow Stake System - The Bullet has two sewn loops on the top sail, and comes with small plastic stakes that can be attached to the top of the wing. These ‘Snow Stakes’ are very useful for laying your wign out on steep snow or in tail-wind launch conditions. To use the snow stakes, simply push them into the snow surface a few centimeters. You may leave the snow stakes in the snow and launch normally, the snow stakes will pull out and will not affect the flying characteristics of your wing.
