ASKA - [2013]
The number of cells was slightly increased in order to increase the glide ratio while maintaining excellent stability. This, along with its increased size, gives it therefore a slightly greater glide ratio than the One Seven (at an equal weight/PTV), and a slightly lower speed with an even easier takeoff, while retaining the characteristics of extremely good inflating and stability of its small sister. The One Nine has been designed to provide for heavier pilots the ease of use of the One Seven, but also to make it easier to practice the mini wing schooling and thermal flying for intermediate and expert pilots. It has been specially tuned for a total flying weight/ PTV slightly higher and for a hiker use, or generally for less radical flying. The bridle has been reduced to fit well to this type of practice.
