Has anyone added an airbag to the Niviuk Skate harness?
Cheers for posting the info...
Do you have any photos of the custom air-bags you could post ?
Hi there,
trough WoodyValley, I got some custom-made airbags fitting both Skate and Roamer-harness. They are lightweight, effective and simple to install.

I bought a yeti airbag, http://www.gingliders.com/paragliding/yeti-airbag.php and it seems to fit quite well.
It has velcro and buckles that connects to the top of the harness and to the part of the harness that becomes the legstraps. I will have to add two more buckles to the harness and two small straps, but otherwise it looks like it fits quite well (even without those modifications it will fit rather well). The only drawback is that the harness is now full when it is used as a rucksack when the canopy is semi compactly packed.
I'll take some pictures of it when I've added the plastic buckles and straps.

I don't think the Speedrider airbag would work. It has attachment points specific to the Speedrider harness, like a zip at the base of the rucksack and some velcro at the front of the the leg loops.
I have both the Niviuk Skate and the Gin Speedrider harnesses and I can't imagine it working. I wouldn't invest in a Speedrider airbag if I were you unless you were up for some serious modifying - or lots of supergluing
Not seen it done, but should be possible...
The Gin Speedrider harness has an optional Airbag

If you do add an airbag to your Skate harness please post details and some photos.
