The X-wing TONIC.16 is the essential companion, whether when flying at your local mountain, for a hike & fly, on vacation or as your second wing. Because the liklihood of getting into the air just increased x-fold – for every pilot. The design of the TONIC is simple and straightforward. Handling is precise and smooth. The performance of this paraglider makes it possible to fly from every hill. When the thermals set up, simply turn with them. Fun ridge soaring or dynamic curves are easy to generate with the brakes – the righting moment offers the necessary safety for hobby pilots, too.

Additional handling features in different terrain complete the TONIC as X-wing!

 

JET FLAP: Enormous reserves in impending stall: improved climb, above all in narrow and strong thermals, increased brake travel to stall, thus an increased »green« area when flying.

How it works: Air is conducted through the flaps from the bottom part of the glider (pressure area) to the upper surface (suction area). When brakes are applied the stall is delayed, flyable minimum speed is reduced, and the pilot has more angle of attack reserve. At normal trim speed the flaps remain closed and opens when the brakes are applied.

2 Plus 2: The skywalk 2+2 Guarantee includes material and workmanship fl aws and applies to all certifi ed (LTF or EN) privately used gliders. This is an extension of the legal 2-Year Guarantee.

February 2013: Skywalk announced their X-wing TONIC has LTF/EN B certification at a launch weight of 56-80 kg.
