Skydiver begin Speedflying

Hi all,
i´m a skydiver with 1500 jumps, most of them with fast groundspeed and landings/swoops (crossfire 109)Now i start with Speedflying. Im not sure, which wing is the right for me. Are they some guys with the same backround an some experiences in speedflying. can be "bobcat" (13,5 or 15) the right one.(my weight 82kg incl. rig) mostly i will start without ski´s. have anyone a idea, where can i try some wings? i live i. south of germany.

Skydiver Begins Speedflying

Hi Tom,
I´m Skydiver too with about 2000 jumps and I fly Velocity 96. I do some speed during the winter time because I live in La Villa in Badia Bolzano (Italy). I think there are two different aspect to think about speed riding. You are skydiver so you are not scary about the speed the canopies can reach but you are not used to fly close to the terrain. That was the scary part for me so I started with a bigger wing. Your question about the two sizes is easily answer so, you can start with a 13,5 bobcat which let you to soar a little bit more wen you don´t feel comfortable to fly close to the ground and at the same time let you have a size quite close to the one you are used to fly. I actually have one bobcat 13,5 available so if you are interested let me know I will give you any further informations.
